Because I don't know the society that...Thomas,<br /><br />Because I don't know the society that well, I am curious what choices you felt were taken away. Perhaps you could elaborate.<br /><br />I have spent some time consulting with a Norwegian company and spent a little time in Oslo. From what I could tell, the Norwegians were educated and entrepreneurial. Some were much wealthier than others. ,The business environment didn't seem that different from high tech companies in the US. But I was never involved in administration. The company I worked with was a new one and had no government connections I was aware of, though it did have connections to some very large firms .
